TÊXTIL ANTÓNIO BETS ON GREEN ENERGY

TAF is a company concerned with reconciling economic development and the preservation of the environment and, following this strategy, intends to continue to invest in quality products at competitive prices – nationally and internationally – as a way of continuing to sustain growth. of its activity, always bearing in mind the protection of the environment.

A few decades ago, pollutants generated by companies were understood as an inevitable consequence of industrial processes, which led to a marked degree of environmental deterioration throughout the world. Currently, companies are increasingly concerned about their environmental performance and TAF is no exception.

The paradigm of electricity production is the one that is most quickly adapting to the new reality: the use of fossil fuels is unsustainable in the medium term. On the other hand, the use of so-called renewable energies for the production of electricity is increasingly a global bet.

The main advantage of using solar energy is sustainability and the evident care for the environment that results from it. Sunlight, used as a source for energy generation, is a renewable raw material, since sunlight is a constant on the planet. In addition, the process of transforming sunlight into energy is totally clean, does not generate any type of residue or pollution of the air, water or soil. Hence, keeping solar panels operating for long periods of time is a task that does not require high investments for the company, as maintenance is simple, economical and environmentally friendly.

It is in this direction that TAF, bet on the installation of a photovoltaic production unit as part of its sustainable strategy
